Christmas is a special day for families to gather and enjoy a meal together. Many of these families do not have the money to afford a nice dinner or a kitchen to cook one.

 

Pastor Arturo and his church, Fe Amor y Esperanza, spend two full days preparing food. The meals are then packaged and placed in reusable buckets. They are loaded onto vans and taken out to the poverty-stricken towns surrounding Cancun. People line up to receive a meal to take home and enjoy as a family.

 

Each bucket includes a rotisserie chicken, bread rolls, vegetables, pasta salad, plates, cups, utensils, and a beverage.
